A 32-page picture book of approximately 1,500 words, built around a dreaming child's night journey. The child's owl avatar — a Southern Boobook (Ninox boobook) — is revealed only on the final page. A bunyip, appearing as a swallow, calls the owl in and guides it through the night. Four companion creatures — Cat, Mouse, Snail, and Moth — each share a mutual exchange with the owl across the journey. Illustrations are AI-generated, derived directly from the poetic text. The project targets the Ian Wilson Memorial Fellowship 2027 (May Gibbs Children's Literature Trust).
